Realistic and Gentle
This was the first book I read on forgiveness. I've read others since, but I keep coming back to this one. The author understands aspects of forgiveness from so many perspectives. She is very gentle with the reader's feelings, and never forces anything. She doesn't sugar-coat anything, and she doesn't overlook the "hard" stuff. If you are beating yourself up because you can't forgive someone else or yourself, this is a good book.
