I LOVED this book! It is a fascinating look at the impact of Nazi Germany on the small island of Guernsey. Part war story, part love story, you will fall in love with the book and its characters.

One of the best books I have read all year. The Art of Racing in the Rain is narrated by Enzo, a dog, who at the end of his life recounts the triumphs and hardships his owner faces. While I had a list of things to do, I spent the weekend curled up on the couch reading this amazing novel (and it was so worth it!).

While I did enjoy this book, to be honest, her others are better. That said if you are a huge fan of Jane Hitchcock, as I am, you will enjoy this book.
