About the Author
Sally Elias Hanna is a first-generation Egyptian-American raised in Florida. She is a pediatrician but when she s not practicing medicine she is busy baking baklava and other Egyptian desserts for everyone she knows. Sally has spent most of her life collecting and perfecting the recipes of her cultural heritage. She does this for the sake of her own family, for other Egyptian-Americans who wish to continue the traditions of their ancestors and, more importantly, for all those who have an interest in exotic and unfamiliar cuisines. Sally and her husband, Ramy,live in Orlando, Florida and have one child.
