Product Description

From the heights of the Himalayas to the depths of Hollywood, three friends attempt to bring the wisdom of the East to the Wild West, without getting sidetracked by fame, fortune and legendary high times of the '70s. But it's not certain if they'll attain their idealistic vision, or even master the most basic yoga position, when their lives are pushed to the limit and each is confronted by his own mortality.

An impossible Romeo and Juliet romance highlights the conflicting values in the early days of Silicon Valley that challenge one character's realization of his dreams. And the fast times in the film and music world of Southern California claim another victim, an aspiring writer, who tries to stay connected to his humanitarian ideals through the retelling of an Indian epic. But he too ends up like his friends, the visionary computer entrepreneur and the jive-talking yogi auto mechanic in a situation that could be a ticket to the next life.

Join this rambunctious crew of spiritual misfits as they take a trip on the road that is sometimes heartbreaking, often humorous, and always about the quest for love, truth and the California Dream.

70s Survivors meet the wisdom of the east !!5
this is a must read for anyone interested in peace love and everything and survived the 70s. This book oozes big hair and macho moustaches (admit it - that was you) but balances it with a real in depth world view of eastern cultures and yoga stuff ...which really asks the question ---why the F&*% !!
