![]() | The Host: A Novel by Stephenie Meyer
Buy new: $15.59 / Used from: $13.39 This is Stephenie Meyer's new book and it is amazing. It is a romance/science fiction, but it doesnt really seem like it is science fiction. The "souls" are interesting to observe and Wanda's (one main character) connections to Melanie's (the other main character) family and friends is intriguing. Definitely a good read.

![]() | Twilight (The Twilight Saga, Book 1) by Stephenie Meyer
Buy new: $6.04 / Used from: $4.00 This book is amazing. It has an engaging main character, a nice bit of romance, and a lot of action. It is the perfect recipe for success, and not just for vampire readers. From the typical romance/reality reader to the typical fantasy, this book applies to all

![]() | The Angel Experiment (Maximum Ride, Book 1) by James Patterson
Buy new: $7.99 / Used from: $3.90 The Maximum Ride series is hilarious. The main character, Max, IS NOT A BOY. despite the common misconception, the angel's experiment has no angels and is actually good despite its cheesy summary.

![]() | The Final Warning (Maximum Ride, Book 4) by James Patterson
Buy new: $13.60 / Used from: $6.98 The fourth installment in the Maximum Ride series. This is the lagging book in this series. Most series have a lagging book. Patterson gets a little too much into his personal views. I mean, I support global warming and all, but it doesnt have to be constantly expressed in a children's book. Max's comebacks are a little repetative.
![]() | Ophelia by Lisa Klein
Buy new: $11.53 / Used from: $5.98 This book is surprisingly good for a historical fiction (which I don't usually read). I was very impressed. This book is amazing, not in the way of Stephenie Meyer's books, but in a whole different way. There are hidden meanings and poetry throughout the book and the life of Ophelie is amazing.
![]() | Song Of The Sparrow by Lisa Ann Sandell
Buy new: $11.55 / Used from: $4.56 This is another semi-historical fiction that was also good. Though Ophelia was better written, this book was an enjoyable read.

![]() | Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging: Confessions of Georgia Nicolson by Louise Rennison
Buy new: $8.99 / Used from: $0.01 This is just a flimsy little fun book. I read this series purely because it is hilarious. It doesnt have the same humor as Maximum Ride, but it does have the floaty life of a ding-dong girl in England. All of the books in this series are hilarious, but this is the start. Read the excerpt and you'll see what I mean.
![]() | Sweet Miss Honeywell's Revenge: A Ghost Story by Kathryn Reiss
Buy new: $13.77 / Used from: $0.45 This is an amazing ghost story. The characters seem slightly boring at the beginning, but the story soon livens up. This is a truly creepy book.
![]() | Silverfin (Young Bond) by Charlie Higson
Buy new: $6.99 / Used from: $0.01 This is a cheesy book about young james bond.Apparently that wasnt stupid enough, so the author made the back stupider. My friend memorized it because she thought is was so funny. You'll have to read it yourself to see the funniness

![]() | The Squire's Tale (The Squire's Tales) by Gerald Morris
Buy new: $3.99 / Used from: $2.22 This is a perfect book for all you king arthur fans out there. This book and the following series is good, but there are a few lagging books. The Ballad of Sir Dinadin is good for only one or two reads and Parsifal's Page is about the same.
![]() | Evil Genius by Catherine Jinks
Buy new: $7.95 / Used from: $0.98 I don't know why, but I enjoy reading books about geniuses. A weird habit, but I still don't just read any book. This book is about a boy who is an evil genius, hence the title. He is a computer hacker and an orphan, or so he thinks. Altogether, an enjoyable read.
![]() | Magic Study (Study, Book 2) by Maria V. Snyder
Buy new: $11.16 / Used from: $7.80 This is an adult book that was actually pretty good. Be warned, there is a teensy bit of adultish stuff. Overall, it is a very good book. The following books in the series are also good.

Buy new: $12.23 / Used from: $6.24 When Clary Fray witnesses three tattoo-covered teenagers murder another teen, she is unable to prove the crime because the victim disappears right in front of her eyes, and no one else can see the killers. The story evolves to become a full-fledged action story with a big secret.
