Brian A. Fowler lives in Central Florida with his wife Diane of 20 years and their three cats. Real Magic is Brian's first novel. He is currently working on a book of modern urban poetry and several other projects, including co-writing a novel with a friend.

Good Book
This was a great book especially being that it is his first published novel..it was a page turner..I read it in about a 2 days I couldn't put it down wanting to know what happened next...there are some "explicit" scenes, definitly will make you blush :-) an overall great read....I will definitly read his next!

It is not over until it is over
Brian A. Fowler, in his first book, Real Magic, a romantic fantasy, kept me guessing until the very end who would ultimately prove to betray - or not. I love that he did that without sacrificing plot. I will watch for his next book.

"Real Magic" is my first novel
Welcome to my review of my first novel "Real Magic". I started writing "Real Magic" in the spring of 2006 for a group of my blogging friends and they threatened me with bodily harm if I did not turn it into a novel. So I spent the next year and half writing and editing and created a story I am very proud to have published.

I call "Real Magic" a romance-fantasy because there are explicit sex scenes between the main characters and magic is the central focus of the story. Set over a period of ten days, the individual chapters are set during a time of day beginning with Friday morning. The action starts from the first page and steadily builds and builds tension until the end. You're never quite sure who exactly is on the side of good and the battle against the forces of evil is a costly one as no one escapes without personal harm.

If you like strong female characters and the lead male to be conflicted but loving, then you'll enjoy this story.
