Dragon's were wiped out by the evil king who has a twisted dragon of his own. Eragon goes to the Varden (a hidden group of people against the evil king) to be trained.

Read the other books in this series. This is about the barn owl Sorrel. After Sorrel is kicked out of his nest by his evil older brother Sorrel has to escape an evil society of wicked owls and escape with his new freinds to the island of Ga'hoole.

Dragon riders everywhere will love this book! It is about a dragon who's hidden valley is being invaded by humans. He has to go and find a new hideout for the other dragons.

A great series of books, a little weird, but good. Very good. And hard to describe.

The Baudelaires are the most unfortunate kids around! Their parents die mysteriously and Evil count Olaf wants their fortune and chases them everywhere. They have millions of differet gaurdians but Count Olaf either tricks them or they die mysteriously. A bit hard to read sometimes (Snicket uses long words), but it's a good read.

This is a story about Merlin's son. The next book in this series is "Shadow on the Stars".

A bunch of kids are being transported to Disney World at night, and everything is not as it seems. Evil Maleficent from sleeping beauty is up to somthing.

A price has to fufill a prophecy and kill a dragon with a rusty sword, a wimpy unicorn and a caged bard before someone else kills him!

This is a new series, kinda like Redwall. Urchins hero Crispin is blamed for somthing he didn't do and exiled. Can Urchin find out who really did it?

I could read this a million times and not get tired of it. It is about a boy who is a apprentice of a ranger (think Aragon and Robin hood). He and his mentor must defeat an evil man-thingy-person-monster's evil monster minions. Read the sequels

A young stag has to run away from home when his fathers murderers try to kill him too. He has to find help for his freinds he left behind who are being enslaved by evil stags with sharp antlers.

These are interesting books about King Arthurs knights and their squires with a magic spin ( one of the squires is the heir to the fairy kingdom). They are funny and very interesting, as I said before. Also read the other books by Gerald Morris in this series, The Squires Tales.

This is a mother-daughter team and they are really good. This is a story about a boy who's parents get kidnapped for their scientific discoveries. Their son (Who can talk to cats) has to find them and try not to get caught by the same people who kiddnaped his parents. On the way he meets some lions in the circus and he decides to help them escape to Africa.

Can a young boy throw off the family curse of cowardess when it arrives in the form of a storm on (I think it's his tenth) birthday?
