The 32618-2G offers variable speed operation via a soft-grip trigger, plus a soft-grip handle design for true control, comfort, and exceptional accuracy. It has a 15-position clutch, a ratcheting, single-sleeve 3/8-inch chuck for one-handed bit changes, and a high torque mode that gives you extra juice at 310 in./lbs. It also comes covered with a hardy DuraShield housing that’s constructed to withstand real world abuse -- even high drops, accidental kicks, and rough transportation.

Best of all, this model features Bluecore battery technology. Bosch's exclusive Bluecore cooling system keeps the batteries cooler, so they're more efficient and they last longer -- up to 50-percent longer. BLUECORE Batteries were engineered with internal cooling rods placed between the battery cells to absorb damaging heat. The battery cells stay cooler during operation and charging as compared with standard batteries which heat up quickly, speeding up chemical breakdown and shortening battery life. BLUECORE Batteries can charge in 30 minutes while other batteries take up to 3 hours to charge when hot. And best of all, all BLUECORE Batteries are compatible with current Bosch cordless tools.

Fantastic drill/driver
You can't go wrong with this tool. Bosch tools consistently rank at the top of product comparisons with good reason. I have had this tool (without the bluecore battery) for nearly 9 months now and have put it through every imaginable use. It has performed flawlessly.

Perfect size and powerful drill
I've had several drills over the years...from the cheap to expensive...this drill works in tight areas, batteries seem to last twice as long as previous drill and it has the power to drill any size screw...I really like this drill...

Awesome Cordless Drill
I bought this 18V Bosch to replace an old 14V Makita cordless that was several years old. My son is an electrician and told me Bosch is probably the best in terms of quality cordless drills out on the market today. It charges very fast (less than 30 min.) and the torque this 3/8" drill delivers is incredible. The drill is not very heavy and is ergonomically designed and well balanced in all positions. I also like their new Bluecore battery technology designed to cool the batteries which hopefully results in longer battery life. I picked this up for under $150.00.
