ALL-IN-ONE INTERNET SECURITY ADAPTER
D-Link’s SECURESPOT Internet Security Adapter (DSD-150) is a complete all-in-one Internet security solution that provides several key features including network protection, firewall protection, virus protection, spyware protection, identity protection, pop-up blocker, SPAM blocker, and parental control - all in a palm-sized box. Provide around-the-clock protection for your data and personal information with the SECURESPOT Internet Security Adapter.
HASSLE-FREE MANAGEMENT AND MONITORING
The centralized web-based control center allows you to configure every aspect of how SECURESPOT protects your home network: from the level of Parental Control to the aggressiveness of the Firewall. The SECURESPOT is the ultimate security device that will implement everything for you, eliminating the time and hassle it takes to update, purchase, and install standalone security products for each computer in your network.
THREE LAYERS OF PROTECTION
The SECURESPOT is the first all-in-one, plug and play desktop Internet Security Adapter designed to provide three layers of protection: the Web Service Layer, the SECURESPOT Hardware Layer, and the Individual Computer Layer. The Web Service Layer manages your home network security with real-time updates of antivirus, spam, spyware, and content filtering databases. The SECURESPOT Layer provides network perimeter protection through firewall, content filtering, virus filtering, application control, identity theft, and reporting. The Individual Computer Layer protects by applying antivirus and spyware detection and removal, pop-up control, and application control.
EASY TO INSTALL AND USE
Instead of running several different programs on each protected computer, SECURESPOT installs a single application that interacts with the SECURESPOT device. Unlike other software-based solutions, the client application will not overload system resources to slow down your computer. Furthermore, if the SECURESPOT client application is loaded onto your notebook computer, you can access the Internet from virtually anywhere and still receive protection. SECURESPOT comes with licenses to protect up to four computers (Windows and Mac). If you have more than four computers in your home, you can purchase additional user licenses online.
Simplify the way you protect your home or small business network from viruses, network attacks, and hackers with the all-in-one SECURESPOT Internet Security Adapter.

Perfect size, but not without limitations
This little 4 port USB hub is awesome. For it's size, it actually accomidates nearly any USB plug or device quite nicely (though there is the rare occasion where a device is simply too big to fit next to another plug or device on the same side of the hub). However, I have had several problems with the hub due to power limitations. The hub comes with a Y-style USB cable with two standard USB male connectors; one is the main/data plug (black plug) while the other is the additional power plug (red plug) for when devices draw more power than the hub can supply. In every case I've tried, the red plug has been of no use. I have two external hard drives that refuse to work at all and a portable scanner that delivers poor scans when plugged into it. This is when no other devices are plugged into the hub and the red plug is in use. Everything else works great, and even though I only give it 3 stars (for its limited utility) overall I really love it and recommend it to anyone who needs more USB ports on-the-go.
Pefect for a Traveller
Recently I have purchased this USB hub from Amazon.com. When I have looked at product image on Amazon.com, I thought it is a bulky one but I don't have any other option except to rely on the product name which says "Super Mini". After I have recieved the shipment, I am astonished to see this piece of equipment. It so small infact its perfectly "Super Mini". This is a perfect gadget for a traveller with notebook having less number of USB ports. By the Way, one more additional feature is that it can handle high power USB devices like Digital Cameras etc, without having to power them seperately.
Failed after just one week of use - worked well, otherwise
While it worked, I was pleased. It actually requires two slots for using powered USB components, such as an iPod, fan, or multi-picture card reader. Very compact design and works automatically with both Mac OS or XP Pro.
Unfortunately, it failed after just one week. The failure was related to data transfer. The connected devices were receiving power, but they could not communicate with my laptop. Rebooting did not solve the problem. When I connected the USB devices directly, they worked fine. It looks like the data transfer chip failed or the connector for data failed. Either way, failure after just one week of use is not good.
