Pass on this
I just wanted to concur with the previous review. This is a fairly useless product.
The sensor on the Wii mote is blocked when inserted into the swords, thus, cannot be read by the sensor bar on the Wii. Essentially, you can do nothing.
Also, the swords and the shield aren't exactly contoured to the Wii mote and nunchuck, and will scrape the controllers when inserted/removed.
Note that this is not a Wii licensed product. The box actually says "Wu," ostensibly to avoid legal problems.
In the end, a great concept executed terribly.
Cool, But Not.
I bought this thinking it would work for the Wii to play Twilight Princess, but the signal cannot pass from the WiiMote to the sensor bar because the foam of the sword blocks it making this a useless item.
Rubbish. Just... Rubbish :(
As the other reviews have stated, and as I should have read before ordering this item (lesson learned, I suppose) the swords actively block the Wiimote sensor, making any and all games unplayable while using this product. To be perfectly frank, I'm somewhat offended that Amazon even sells this, especially in a "combo pack" with Twilight Princess, which is the game I bought this for. I figured my daughter (who is a total tomboy at eight years old) would love to have a sword in her hand while playing Zelda. She did think it was cool, until she couldn't play the game. At all!
Please, do not make the mistake I did by buying this product. It is pure, unadulterated rubbish!
