Pure, whole organic chamomile flowers. Nothing else. Individually wrapped mug size tea sachets. What makes this sachet special? Unlike paper tea bags, sachets hold full leaf tea, not dust. Enjoy rich, full leaf tea flavor with the handiness of a tea bag. Watch the leaves open and infuse your pot or mug with the true flavor of loose leaf tea. What is Single Region Tea? Two leaves and a bud uses teas that are grown, using traditional growing methods. Just like estate-grown wine, the quality of tea varies from hillside to hillside. Our experienced tasters select only the finest estates. We never blend with less expensive filler teas. The finest teas start with just the very smallest blossoms, the two leaves and a bud of the tea flower. We named our company for these shoots which are--The essence of tea. Tanginess: Smooth. Body: Gentle. Finish: Floral and soft. Character: Chamomile has been used for centuries to calm troubled thoughts and to aid digestion. Slightly apple-like in flavor, the name comes from the Greek Kamai, meaning ground apple. We select the best of the crop to bring out the full flavor. Leaf Style: Whole flowers. Caffeine: Nope. Origin: E. Europe. Elevation: Plains grown. Best: After meals. Packed in China.

The Best
This is the best chamomile tea I have ever had. I am so glad I found this tea, it is fresh like just picked blossoms, the flavor is rich & mellow, so many chamomile teas have little or no flavor. The packaging is exceptional!! I have bought loose tea many times, but I really do not like messing with the clean up. This is real loose chamomile in a tea bag unlike any I have ever seen. Chamomile is my daughter's favorite tea & I bought 6 boxes to give her as a xmas present. I only gave her 3, I just had to keep 3 for myself. I will definitely buy again.
very good chamomile
I always loved chamomile tea as a child, but recently it has never tasted the same, until I tried this brand one day and discovered that it keep the chamomile flower buds I think that is what really makes the difference. Normal powdered chamomile in a sack just isn't the same. I think this brand is excellent. It is very expensive though.
To the guy who posted the bad review why don't you post where you found this cheaper one you claim is just as good, because I have not been able to find any alternatives that are this quality for less. This tea is at least a strong as other brands here on amazon I have tried, including the orgranic ones. It's true is is not very very strong, but the flavor is really good.
Not up to my expectations
I purchased a quart carton of chamomile tea at a street fair about 2 years ago. I started using it a few months ago and it was excellent, in spite of its age. It had a great calming effect on me and I went to sleep about 20 minutes after drinking it. Thinking it was "cheap" (after all, I bought it at a street fair), I ordered Two Leaves and a Bud brand from Amazon and it was awful! I had to use 3-4 tea bags in a single cup to achieve any degree of strength or taste or desired result. In my opinion, the packaging is gorgeous; the product leaves a lot to be desired.
