From the Manufacturer
adidas is a name that stands for excellence in all sectors of sport around the globe. The vision of company founder Adolf Dassler has become a reality, and his corporate philosophy has been the guiding principle for successor generations. The idea was as simple as it was brilliant: to provide every athlete with the best possible equipment. It all began in 1920, when Adi Dassler made his first shoes using the few materials available after the First World War. Today, the adidas product range extends from shoes, apparel, and accessories for basketball, soccer, fitness and training to adventure, trail and golf.

Light and Durable
I've always been a fan of addidas for cross-training and these shoes have offered a good foundation. However, there is no arch support and really is only for comfort. If you need stabilizing or pronation correcting shoes it's best to look elsewhere.
REVIEW: adidas Women's Duramo US Lea Running Shoe (OK)
I got these for my wife for christmas to replace her tired Adidas shoes. She liked them, they looked good and were cheap. She's worn them a little, to the gym a few times and they seem to be working out great.
The only strange thing was that, on one shoe (not both), the lace holes didn't quite match up - they were off by about a half inch. Doesn't seem to affect the comfort of the shoe, but makes you wonder if it's an irregularity and why the shoes were on sale :)
Ok
They are pretty good looking, comfortable, but they are very wide in the front. I don't like to look down at my foot and see a very wide sneaker.
