AMAZING
Had a bad smell at first but goes away quickly and does not effect the taste of the water. I used it camping, and it was outside in the sun for days, and the water stayed ice cold and there was even ice still in it at the end of the trip.It holds a good amount of water, we had three people drinking lots of water from it for 2 days and there was still plenty of water left. I would recommend this to anyone!

Not Cool
This is a fine beverage dispenser, but as cooler, it's not very useful. When I first got it, I tested it to see whether it lives up to the claim of keeping ice in 90 degree weather for a week. Ha! I put about 8 cups of ice into it and left it on the counter overnight (about 70 degree room). In the morning, there was nothing but room temperature water inside.

I think this is because the top is so flimsy and doesn't seal very well.

Given how inexepensive this item was, I'm not that unhappy with it -- it still is a great dispenser. But if you need to keep something cold for more than a couple of hours, you should investigate other products.

Parts are too expensive to replace, buy a new one
My Igloo MaxCold 2-gal. Contour Cooler worked fine for a week, then I noticed the spigot was leaking. To replace the little plastic spigot costs $4.95 and the shipping is $9.95 - I found another Igloo 2 gallon cooler at Dollar General - not contoured, but just the regular old style cooler, for $12.99. Hasn't leaked a drop. If it does begin to leak I'll just buy another one. I contacted Igloo about this and they said they'd send me a free spigot for the contoured cooler, said it was in warranty, then I never heard from them again. But FIFTEEN DOLLARS for a little plastic part they can send in a little bubble-wrap envelope. Igloo should list this item as "Igloo MaxCold 2-gal. Contour Cooler - Ice Blue/ White - Disposable".
