Groundbreaking and excellently-written, this miniseries is the back action-war-drama ever released. Every character in the show (there are over 20 memorable characters!) have their own personalities, and gems of real-life dialog are written in throughout.

Told from the perspective of the many branches of the Wheeler family, Into the West is a triumph of television, dramatically telling the tales of blood and sacrifice that made this country what it is today. There are many characters, all with unique and tragic personalities. Stories are that of both the whites and the Lakota people of the Great Plains, but the show is no-bull and favors no side.

Easily the best Sci-Fi channel original production, this series is one of the best science fiction offerings I have watched thus far. Conspiracy, betrayal, wonder, Love and Loss are all here. Peter Krause is an excellent frontman, and is backed by Julianna Margulies, as well as many other talented supporting cast members.

Not for the faint of heart, nor for people without a great love of ancient history, Rome is a highly fictionalized look at Rome around the time of great upheavals surrounding Popmey, Julius Caesar and Caesar Augustus. Stories are told mainly from the views of two foot soldiers, giving a unique perspective on it all

A very interesting look at how a presidency might go. A good mix of ripped-from-the-headlines stories and what-if stories, and good character development for the whole cabinet throughout.
