They undoubtly form one of the most perfect pop duos of all-time and this remastered compilation has many great examples of how dancing and intelligent their music can be.
The Best of YazThe Best of Yaz by Yaz
Buy new: $10.99 / Used from: $7.79
Another excellent pop duo that lasted only two albums but left a bunch of great songs to posterity, such as: Situation, Don't Go and Nobody's Diary.
The Pop HitsThe Pop Hits by Roxette
Buy new: $19.99 / Used from: $6.00
I'm far from being fan of this duo, but I must confess I do like many of their songs and this album has many good dancing pop songs. I'd point out Dressed For Success, The Big L. and Sleeping In My Car.

Buy new: $23.99 / Used from: $9.08
Thrilling pop songs like Cry Wolf and Take On Me definitely cannot be left in the past!
Gold: The Best of Spandau BalletGold: The Best of Spandau Ballet by Spandau Ballet

Everybody knows their everlasting ballad called True but they could also forge some really excellent dancing ones like Only When You Leave and Gold.
Natural History: The Very Best of Talk TalkNatural History: The Very Best of Talk Talk by Talk Talk
Buy new: $11.98 / Used from: $2.99
They'll always be remembered because of the absolutely divine It's My Life! Nevertheless, they own another less valuable gems too like My Foolish Friend and Today.
Ultimate CollectionUltimate Collection by Madness
Buy new: $9.97 / Used from: $6.95
Their totally delightful Pop/Ska sound is able to make even a grumpy old man dance in the street like a silly boy!
Devo - Greatest Hits [Warner Brothers]Devo - Greatest Hits [Warner Brothers] by Devo
Buy used from: $3.69
Forget everything that you know about nerd style of life, 'cos this album is the alive proof that a bunch of nerds can be very fun too! Music for dancing inside the Millennium Falcon, 'cos Enterprise is a place for serious people...
The Essential Men at WorkThe Essential Men at Work by Men at Work
Buy used from: $4.77
After releasing some excellent singles in the first half of the 80's, Colin Hay didn't correspond to expectations in his next works and simply disappeared from the pop map. But the fact is that he owns at least 5 wonderful pop songs in his musical curriculum, which are: Down Under, It's A Mistake, Overkill, Everything I Need and Who Can It Be Now?.
Take Me OutTake Me Out by Franz Ferdinand
Buy used from: $0.50
This band brings the 'rock' back to the dance floor with total force, I think!
I Bet You Look Good on the DancefloorI Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor by Arctic Monkeys
Buy new: $7.98 / Used from: $3.98
Every now and then a rock band can make a brilliant song with a bit noisy guitars that is danceable. Is it only my impression or they really hate Duran Duran?!
Everyday I Love You Less & Less, Pt. 1Everyday I Love You Less & Less, Pt. 1 by Kaiser Chiefs
Buy new: $12.99 / Used from: $1.99
Irresistibly cathy dancing rock! I think it should be used in a soundtrack for an anti-conventional romantic comedy.
Pieces of the People We LovePieces of the People We Love by The Rapture
Buy new: $8.98 / Used from: $3.37
This is what I call a perfect synth-rock album! It reminds me of Rio album by Duran Duran just because almost all its tracks are also upbeat & shaking.
2 Future 4 U2 Future 4 U by Armand Van Helden
Buy used from: $1.99
If U usually turn up your nose at DJ albums, I truly believe this one is able to change your mind. Then maybe you try to hear another 3 great albums released by him: Gandhi Khan, New York: A Mix Odyssey & Ghetto Blaster.
A Voyage into TranceA Voyage into Trance by Paul Oakenfold
Buy new: $16.98 / Used from: $5.44
This album is exactly what its title suggests. And it's worth the trip indeed!
2 Worlds Collide2 Worlds Collide by David Morales
Buy new: $14.98 / Used from: $4.59
Good vocals, good beats and mainly good vibes!
His Greatest Hits from TraxHis Greatest Hits from Trax by Frankie Knuckles
He's regarded as an alive legend from House music and this compilation just brings the tracks responsible for such a fame.
Never, Never, LandNever, Never, Land by UNKLE
Buy new: $14.98 / Used from: $6.49
The amazing Eye For An Eye and the sequence Panic Attack-Invasion-Reign are strong enough reasons to buy this record.
LCD SoundsystemLCD Soundsystem by LCD Soundsystem
Buy new: $12.97 / Used from: $4.95
This album served to turn this band into the new darlings of clubbers overnight, specially because its explosive first track. But it owns another incredibly infectious ones like Tribulations & On Repeat.
Speak for YourselfSpeak for Yourself by Imogen Heap
Buy new: $9.99 / Used from: $6.92
A very pleasing album with sweet vocals and soft beats.
Corinne Bailey RaeCorinne Bailey Rae by Corinne Bailey Rae
Buy new: $10.97 / Used from: $4.25
Put Your Records On is that kind of song that it's impossible to dislike. First class pop soul present in a very good (and a bit underrated) debut album. Its other tracks are calmer, except for Troble Sleeping and I'd Like To, which are more lively ones.
The Very Best of Macy GrayThe Very Best of Macy Gray by Macy Gray
Buy new: $11.98 / Used from: $5.50
Do Something, Why Didn't You Call Me, Boo, Sexual Revolution and When I See You are all excellent examples of the most shaking side of her discography.
Life in Cartoon MotionLife in Cartoon Motion by Mika
Buy new: $9.99 / Used from: $6.50
Fabulous record!!! What a talented guy Mika is! His debut album is full of high points. Actually I love all its tracks, mainly, of course, the incredibly delightful Grace Kelly, which I regard as one of the best songs from the last year. Nevertheless it's really good to swing while you're listening to Love Today, Relax,Take It Easy & Big Girl,You Are Beautiful too!
St. ElsewhereSt. Elsewhere by Gnarls Barkley
Buy new: $9.99 / Used from: $3.78
Ok, I agree Crazy is one of the best things that has happened to Pop in the 00's, but don't forget to listen to other almost so great songs present in this stunning one too, such as the overture track and the underrated Smiley Faces.
Alright, StillAlright, Still by Lily Allen
Buy new: $8.97 / Used from: $5.43
A very sarcastic girl inappropriately called Lily singing well-done bouncy songs. Friday Night lyrics are hilarious and some other ones are controversial for saying the least. Sometimes I had difficulties to believe that this "sweet" girl reached a huge popularity by singing a song where she called a gang to spank her ex-boyfriend just because he had left her. And she smiiiles! Sign of the times.
Back to BlackBack to Black by Amy Winehouse
Buy new: $12.99 / Used from: $6.97
Another "bad girl" who loves to expose her "reprovable" behavior to the audience. I don't know why she treats herself so badly and I don't know if all this attitude isn't just marketing, but I know that I love her music, despite I think she should go to a rehab urgently... My fave ones here are the smashing Back To Black and You Know I'm No Good.
It Won't Be Soon Before LongIt Won't Be Soon Before Long by Maroon 5
Buy new: $9.99 / Used from: $6.98
I think this album owns only one remarkable dancing track besides its 3 hit singles from 2007, which is Kiwi. The other dancing ones are nothing more than decent fillers at my opinion. Anyway it's undoubtly a dance pop album above the average. It blends the elegance from Spandau Ballet with the energy from Adam & The Ants. Adam Levine owns a nasal voice, but it's almost OK, after all he's so sexy.
