Age use range is inaccurate
I love the Trumpette socks. Super-cuteness aside, these stopped fitting my daughter at 5 months of age (when she was in the 50th percentile, according to the pediatrician's chart). I always wash her clothes in cool water so shrinkage is not a factor.

My rating is an average of 4 stars based on the fact that they do not fit 0-12 months but the quality and look redeem the product.

Some reviewers rated Trumpette socks pretty low due to the price and that is not my issue. Because shoes are not recommended for pre-walkers, these socks substitute nicely and stay on better than shoes (if they are the right size).

If you break down the price of $22.00 for a box of six, you're looking at a little over $3.50 per pair, which is a very affordable alternative to crib shoes that get lost easily and don't always keep babys feet warm anyway. All of that aside, why keep the baby in the same six pairs of socks for an entire year? I know I don't keep mine for that long unless they're high fashion or high quality wool.

I would still purchase these socks for babies in the very early infancy stage.

Cute, but...
Yes, these are very cute socks. But I thought I should share for those considering buying these that though they say they are for ages 0-12 months, the elastic at the top of the socks really cuts into my five-month-old daughter's legs. She is only 12 pounds, mind you. Just something to keep in mind - I never put these on her anymore, they just seem really uncomfortable from the marks they leave on her little legs.

I have these for my 4month old. They are adorable. I received them as a gift and will buy more. They stay on and look adorable with outfits. We always get comments on them while we are out.
