Long-lasting rose scent with powder and musk
I smelled this perfume some time ago and fell in love with it - so I was pretty excited to get a good deal on a tester that had barely been used. However, once I put the fragrance on, it wasn't as clearly rose as it smelled when just sniffing it. The first 15 minutes or so, in fact, smelled sort of like a home permanent. But after that, the rose came slicing through - like a ray of sunshine to the forest floor. It remained bracketed by a powdery scent, but separate. By the time I'd had it on for over 8 hours (while sleeping, I might add, which is the toughest test I can think of for a perfume), there was still a soft, powdery scent lingering.

While this is a lovely rose perfume, I would recommend that you test it on your own skin BEFORE buying it, to avoid the situation I've run into. However, I feel that a few minutes of a strange scent is worth the rose that comes later - you may, also.
