The dial is set in a solid steel case and framed by a brushed steel bezel with 12 genuine diamond accents. Tapered lugs flow gracefully into a beautiful link bracelet, in gleaming polished steel with brushed steel center links. The bracelet fastens securely with a deployment buckle. Other notable features of this watch include precise Japanese quartz movement, a screw-down caseback, and a steel crown with fluted edges and a crown protector. This Bulova watch is rated water resistant to 100 meters.

About Bulova
In 1875, a young Czech immigrant named Joseph Bulova set up shop in New York City, and a legendary American watch brand was born. Bulova was trained as a jeweler, and his expertise carried over into his watchmaking career, which began around 1911 with boudoir clocks and pocket watches, and soon evolved to include what was then one of the latest and most fashionable technological innovations: the wristwatch.

Bulova introduced its first line of wristwatches in 1919. The company grew and prospered, and soon early radio and television ads were declaring, "America runs on Bulova time." In the 1950s, continuing its legacy of innovation, Bulova introduced Accutron, the first electronic watch, and the first breakthrough in timekeeping technology in over 300 years. The Accutron timing mechanism was later adapted for use by NASA computers and a Bulova timer was even placed on the moon to control transmissions of data. Bulova timepieces have kept official time aboard Air Force One and have also served as official timepieces for U.S. Olympic teams.

Very elegant and comfortable watch
I wanted a more "grown-up" watch for work. I have always had a sport watch. This is still water-resistent and sleek. It is very expensive looking, but not too flashy. I had the diamonds tested by my jeweler, and they are real. The band is comfortable, and the clasp is hidden on the inside of the band giving it a uniform look. It goes with everything. So comfortable I can sleep in it. The price was awesome for this great watch. Well worth retail price, but why pay when Amazon offers a steal of a deal for a great time piece. It is always great to get a "steal." Thanks.

Love it!!
Out of all my watches I love this one the most. The picture does not do it justice. I get compliments on it a lot. Anyway I have had it for almost a year and I am still in love with it. I would really like to buy another one just in case Bulova stops making this model, but I am saving up for an ESQ.

It is hard to tell in the picture but the face is subtle mother-of-pearl. The diamonds really sparkle in the light.
