ALWAYS SUITABLE, ABSOLUTELY CONSISTENT AND FINE
There are two or three other European colognes that have similar presence; L'Imperale by Guerlain is one. They're based on the very earliest cologne waters ever created, and of these 4711 is probably the most authentic. That it has lasted as long as it has is testament to its relentless and dependable good manners.

If you were only allowed to have one cologne in your life, one you wouldn't tire of and that wouldn't date or limit you, you'd probably choose 4711. It goes everywhere, night and day, through all season, flawlessly. It does't say much more about you except that you have excellent social sense and smell very good. On the tennis court, at the neighborhood bar, in the Gym, at ballet class and/or in bed, its always there and always right. Depending on class pretensions you can think of it as the Rolls Royce or the Model A, or the VW of colognes. 4711 provides the background, you do the rest. And to tell you the truth, its great to wear a product that doesn't 'make you smell like you're selling something. Not for hustlers.

I wear it almost all the time. Have a big, litre bottle, and a small aftershave bottle too, though I can use 4711 itself out of the bottle after shaving. No problem at all. Works perfectly. Always get compliments. And when I travel I just carry the cologne. In many ways 4711 is like wearing a big, friendly smile, but its top note is civitas.

It is the best in the world at what it does.

4711 cologne is one quarter the price of other leading colognes and is equal in fragrance. A real surprise bargain . I use it as a splash, liberally. Great for both women and men

You advertise the product as a designer's cologne. I've known this product from the generation before me and woman used it as much as men. You do this product an injustice when you label it as mens designers cologne. 4711 received its name from its place of origin, 4711 Glocken Gasse Cologne Germany.It was originally created from 11 herbs. It freshens the skin and creates a sense of well being.This product is not locally available and I am delighted to have found it on the internet.As the product 4711 cologne I praise it highly but I don't see it as a mens designers cologne.
