2008 digitally remastered edition of the second album by this San Francisco Hard Rock/Metal band under their Y&T moniker (they were previously known as Yesterday & Today). Originally released in 1982, Black Tiger was the album with which San Francisco rockers Y&T followed their astonishing Earthshaker opus and, though not quite in the same class as its predecessor, the album has much to recommend it. Tracks like 'Open Fire' and the barnstorming 'Forever' remain crowd pleasers to this day. Krescendo.

Excelllent follow up to Earthshaker
While not as strong as the awesome Earthshaker this disc still deserves 5 stars and some would say it even put Y&T on the map. Some will also say that Dave Meniketti is so underatted but the whole band was underatted. Meniketti had so much fire, soul in his playing and singing and Leonard Haze was a monster behind the kit. Fave tunes are My Way Or The Highway , Black Tiger and Open Fire. The remaster sounds awesome. Get it while you can.

Without a doubt!!!! Y&T is in the top 5 of the best hard rock bands ever!!!! and this album says it all.....if you love 80's hard rock Y&T is a must and Earth Shaker is top of the list!!!
