Into the NowInto the Now by Tesla
Buy new: $9.98 / Used from: $3.15
[2004] This is just a flat out legitimately great album in it's own right. The songs feel like they could easily been on either Great Radio Controversy or Psychotic Supper, yet with a modern flair that doesn't feel forced. Exceptional whether you're a hair metal fan or not.
Once Upon A...Once Upon A... by Cinderella
Buy new: $9.97 / Used from: $0.94
[1997] Unfortunately you have to go back 10 years for the latest Cinderella tracks, but this compilation contains them; War Stories & Move Over. Perhaps their album recorded in 2001, and currently owned, and shelved, by Sony will someday see the light of day (pending lawsuit).
Greatest and LatestGreatest and Latest by Warrant
Buy new: $16.98 / Used from: $2.14
[1999] Don't be fooled, the latest Warrant album, Born Again, is not Warrant as they have a new lead singer. Same goes for the nu Skid Row btw. Anyway, amidst the greatest hits on this compilation are 3 new tracks, The Jones, Southern Comfort (hello again, 1988) & Bad Tattoo.
Under the InfluenceUnder the Influence by Warrant
[2001] On this album of covers are two originals, Sub Human & Face.
New TattooNew Tattoo by Mötley Crüe
Buy used from: $25.99
[2000] Generation Swine is unadulterated genre-whoring and total crap. This album, even though Tommy's absent from it, is much better; more in the vein of Girls Girls Girls & Dr. Feelgood. In fact, it's probably right between the two quality-wise; though there's no doubting it would've been MUCH better with Tommy on it.
Red, White, & CrueRed, White, & Crue by Mötley Crüe
Buy new: $16.99 / Used from: $4.99
[2005] Two new songs by the Crue-sers reunited are found at the end of this compilation. Three if you have the Japanease import. While they're cetainly not vintage crue, they sound more like legitimate updates to their sound rather than just copying current material in a desperate attempt to stay relevent ($$).
EuphoriaEuphoria by Def Leppard
Buy new: $9.97 / Used from: $1.97
[1999] After the failure of 1996's Slang, I think Def Leppard just decided to do what they do best.. and boy, did they! Euphoria feels like it should have come out in 1989 and if it had, would have been an absolute monster.
XX by Def Leppard
Buy new: $9.97 / Used from: $3.93
[2002] X strays a bit to close into modern Bon Jovi territory for comfort, but there are more than a couple decent hair metal-ish tracks on it.
Power to the PeoplePower to the People by Poison
Buy new: $16.98 / Used from: $4.88
[2000]CC rejoins poison and they then release Power, which is 5 new tracks and some live stuff. One of the new ones, Strange, sounds like it could have been on Flesh & Blood. Good stuff.
HollyweirdHollyweird by Poison
Buy new: $16.98 / Used from: $8.88
[2002] The original lineup releases a full length LP next. On it is Shooting Star, which sounds like the sequel to Fallen Angel.
Songs of LifeSongs of Life by Bret Michaels
Buy new: $16.98 / Used from: $7.88
[2003] A year later Bret puts out a solo album full of Poison songs. If he had just incorporated Raine and Songs of Life into Hollyweird, Hollweird would maybe have been much more successful.
Bring 'Em Bach AliveBring 'Em Bach Alive by Sebastian Bach
Buy new: $13.98 / Used from: $6.38
[1999] There's a couple originals amongst the live performances, but they pretty much suck unfortunately. Baz's got a new album coming out this fall, Angel Down; hopefully it'll be an improvement.
End of DaysEnd of Days by Limp Bizkit
Buy used from: $0.01
[1999] This soundtrack contains the only officially released Nu GNR song, Oh My God. Problem is, it doesn't much sound like GNR, kind of like the Generation Swine era Motely Crue.
Can't Get There From Here (+2 Bonus TracCan't Get There From Here (+2 Bonus Trac by Great White
Buy used from: $42.49
[1999] Yes, this one hit wonder's (Once Bitten, Twice Shy) still active. The opening three tracks on this disk are excellent, slickly produced hair metal you could easily be fooled into thinking were originally released back in 1989 and in heavy MTV rotation.
Back to the RhythmBack to the Rhythm by Great White
Buy new: $13.99 / Used from: $8.97
[2007] Brand new, haven't heard it yet.
Angel DownAngel Down by Sebastian Bach
Buy new: $13.99 / Used from: $9.80
[2007] Three duets with Axl highlight this heavy set that does have a couple decent hair metal moments. It's definately not 1987 all over again, but some good stuff to pick & choose from.
Songs From The Sparkle LoungeSongs From The Sparkle Lounge by Def Leppard
Buy new: $9.99 / Used from: $7.89
[2008] At first listen I was like, "Holy crap it's Hysteria II"!! It doesn't hold up that well to repeated listenings, at least the A-side. But it's solid and definately hair metal. At least on par with Euphoria, but lacks that killer ballad.
Good To Be BadGood To Be Bad by Whitesnake

[2008]
Return Of The PrideReturn Of The Pride by White Lion
Buy new: $11.97 / Used from: $10.99
[2008]
Saints of Los AngelesSaints of Los Angeles by Mötley Crüe
Buy new: $9.99 / Used from: $9.95
[2008] Lead off single is great, don't know about this rest yet.
Rock My WorldRock My World by Bret Michaels
Buy new: $9.99 / Used from: $7.98
[2008] No personal experience with this album, but haven't heard a good thing about it though. Bret's stuff is spotty typically but usually some solid stuff, so the negativity may be attributed to (justifiable) reality tv-show backlash.
