| The reader should always beware of just who is behind the "study" Bible they are reading as that bias will be reflected in the notes and cross-references (or more often lack thereof) and they can easily exert a subtle influence over the uninitiated and become the authority. When this bias is appreciated it can be most helpful in giving you the low-down on certain systems be it Acts 2 dispensationalism, charismatic thought, Post and Amillenialism, Calvinism, etc. But the fact is that the faithful Bible believer who studies his Bible will make notations and cross-references in his Bible that you will never find in ANY study Bible. This is particularly so since most of the dispensational thought you will encounter will be of the Acts 2 variety rather than Pauline. In truth, it is the King James text itself which is the "study" Bible containing its own built-in dictionary among other study "helps." | ||
