Amazon.com Product Description
Spend enough time on the water, and your equipment will spend some time in it. That's why Bushnell had the foresight to build the H20 series of binoculars, which are O-ring-sealed and nitrogen-purged to complete lock out moisture should you spill water on the housing, take your binoculars overboard, or simply run into foul weather along the way. The H20 binoculars feature rubber armoring with textured pads to give you a sturdy grip in slippery situations. More significantly, the binoculars' multicoated optics and premium-quality BaK-4 prisms maximize light transmission and image clarity, so you can enjoy a clear view of the Orcas in the distance or the fast-approaching coastline. You'll quickly see how a little planning on Bushnell's part goes a long way in magnifying your adventures on or around the water. Other features include fold-down eyecups, a large center focus knob for easy, precise adjustments, and a long eye relief.

Tech Talk
Objective Lens: The diameter of the objective or front lens. The larger the objective lens, the more light that enters the binocular, and the brighter the image.
Field of View (F.O.V.): The side-to-side measurement of the circular viewing field or subject area. It is defined by the width in feet or meters of the area visible at 1000 yards or meters. A wide angle binocular features a wide field of view and is better for following action. Generally, the higher the magnification, the narrower the field of view.
Roof Prism System: In roof prism binoculars the prisms overlap closely, allowing the objective lenses to line up directly with the eyepiece. The result is a slim, stream-lined shape in which the lenses and prisms are in a straight line.

Porro Prism System: In porro prism binoculars the objective or front lens is offset from the eyepiece. Porro prism binoculars provide greater depth perception and generally offer a wider field of view.
Rainguard: Our exclusive, patent pending, hydro-phobic (water-repellent) coating on which condensation from rain, fog or snow forms in much smaller droplets than on standard coatings. Smaller droplets scatter less light which results in increased light transmission and a clearer image. Makes the binocular useful even when looking directly into the driving rain.
Customer Reviews
Great Binos.
I prefer a 12x bino and these are great value and excellent clarity. The 42 barrel means it is not too large and bulky. Highly recommend them. Great price and a great product. Not too heavy. Feel great in the hand. Good focusing wheel. The case is not great, but then apart from packing most of the time I would have them around my neck, so no big deal. Very pleased with the purchase.
Excellent Value
Bought these binoculars for my husband. He loves them. They are very powerful and he loves the way they feel - not too heavy. He can look at stuff across the creek and is amazed at the clarity in the things that he sees.
Not bad for this price
It's a good quality bino. The only bad thing in it is a slight purple chromatic aberration on a white background. But as a value, it's great for its price. I used it in the bush of the Amazon in Colombia last week and I enjoyed watching the colorful amazing birds with it.
