Great gift for the addicted.5
After seeing the movie "Wordplay," my wife became interested in solving the NY Times crossword puzzle and is now addicted. This book was the perfect gift for a vacation to a place where getting the newspaper is not so easy.

Never a Loss for Words4
Although I can't claim to be the most successful cruciverbalist, I always try to find an unmarked crossword in airline magazines to play. Because they're easy. And that's why I like this collection of crosswords, because the NYT puzzles get harder as the week goes on. I can stick to early weekdays and leave the end-of-week crosswords to the more adroit. These are 15x15 size puzzles, not the 20+ grids the Times puts out on weekends for wordplay pros. Whatever your level, you'll find puzzles to suit your capabilities and others to challenge you onwards.

Well definitely for North Americans and if you're not up to date with its TV and movie scene it's quite difficult to solve.I would rather do a puzzle with more general English than this, but it's OK for native speakers from the States.
