these next 8 artists are all soft female vocals. each style differs but one thing stays the same, they all have beautiful voices. these first 2 could be considered folk/country. now i know everyone always says "i love all types of music, well, except country." trust me on this these two are AT LEAST worth a listen.

these next 3 all offer slower type songs that could put you to sleep.

corine bailey rae is probably getting more known. her song "put your records on" is getting serious tv time on VH1.

these next two are guilty pleasures of mine. they'd probably be catered more towards teenagers but i can't stop listening. the faders cd is an import so it might be harder to get. if you like the song "no sleep tonight" you'll love the album.

these next 8 are all rock bands that aren't you're typical mainstream stuff. the first 3 are fronted by women. the sounds are a fun, make you wanna jump around and have fun type band. the catch is, not everyone likes the leads singers voice. it'll either make it or break it.

yeah, karen o is just crazy. this album is alot of fun to go crazy to.

i love muse. a great rock band. they seem to come with something new every album.

utiog. these guys are like the beegees of the present. you'd swear that's what you were listening to. check out mama's room and if you get a chance, check out the video. :)

these next 4 albums are proof that rap/hiphop is not dead though it is close. even if you don't like rap, just give these a shot, you might be surprised.

basement jaxx are pretty popularr if you know club music, if not, this album is worth checking out. there is something you likely heard at one point.
