Thank Goodness For The Jeep!!!...
My son LOVES this jeep...and it's been a lifesaver for my sanity! I bought this when he was 3mos...he's now 9mos and STILL loves it!Whenever he starts to get cranky, but it's too early for nap-time, I just put him in his jeep, and he rolls all over the house! He loves being able to go wherever he wants! My only complaint is the white 'windshield' part WILL NOT stay attached. my husband couldn't even get it to snap permanently into place. My son has only pulled it off twice, but he just threw it on the ground. It's mainly when I go to move it that I forget it won't stay attached and it comes off. Other then that, this walker is GREAT! I HIGHLY recommend!!
Just ok
Our son actually liked the $35 walker we got at Walmart much more than this Jeep. The Jeep does not turn easily so baby can really only go forwards or backwards. Not worth the $$$. Get a walker that has wheels that can turn 360 degrees.
Jeep Liberty Renegade Walker: Good find with a few hiccups
Pros:
Really charming walker and easy to assemble (match A to A, B to B etc). I didn't like any of the walkers I saw in the stores (Babies R Us, Target, Walmart) so this one was a nice find. Colorful and fun. Good price at $61 shipped and received in 3 days! Steering wheel is very cute and if you're a Jeep fan, you'll like this miniature version.
Cons:
Wheels touted a "rugged" aren't rugged. I bought this hoping it might roll on carpet but it doesn't. "Off-road fun" you will not have :-) Works great on flat surfaces. This is the first walker I've ever purchased so I can't compare, but the wheels seem unimpressive.
The leg holes aren't huge. If your baby is a chunker (like mine) they may fit a little snug.
As a previous reviewer noted, "the white 'windshield' part WILL NOT stay attached". I found this to be the case as well, but it's a non-essential part so it's not a huge deal.
If you're a detail person like myself, you'll find the stickers they used for the lights and "JEEP" logo in the front to be cheap and flimsy.
