Customer Reviews

Great toy with loads of fun and educational games.5
We received this as a gift for my daughter when she turned 3. It turned out that my 8 year old boy loves this toy just as much. The connection is easy and it took us less than 5 minutes to take out the toy, put in batteries and connect to our TV and started to play. The games are very educational with teaching very basics like colors, numbers, memory, counting, hearing, etc. The best part of it is that this can be a play-alone unit that doesn't need to be connected to TV, so kids can bring along in the car for road trips or play without a TV and still have lots of fun without TV. VTech has done a great job again, we would highly recommend it and will continue to buy more toys made by this company.

All sales...No service1
My two year old received as a gift from her grandfather. Does not work - malfunctions. After spending an hour, yes an hour, on the phone w/customer service who toggled back and forth between the tech dept. and myself finally determined that the product does not work. Yes, that's what I told him at the onset of the phone conservation. In order to fix it, I have to pay shipping to send to V-tech for repair, AND they will only accept with the purchase receipt. I told the CSR that I didn't have a receipt, and I was not going to ask her grandfather if he had it. I would personally replace it before I made him feel bad for giving her a defective product. SO, I told the CSR to please accept it w/o the receipt, fix it and give it to charity. They don't do that. It's all about having the receipt, not anything about servicing their product. The CSR did a wonderful job, rather time-consuming, but that's the company rule, not his. This product will just go to the trash. VTech Dora the Explorer TV PhoneAnd from now on, I personally will not purchase V-tech items.
