smart portable and zoom is good
I didn't have any of the problems that others have reported. pic quality is a about a 7 of 10 compare to a $400 lorex unit so I don't see a negative here. range is as good as the expensive lorex that I also own at about 150 feet throughout my house of 2 stories. zoom has better pic quality than full view which is strange for digital units. design is smart and light. others might have set the timer to turn the unit of without knowing. please read the manual if you are not sure. I didn't have to refer to the manual because the unit itself is so simple to use.
love this monitor
We had our first baby and got this monitor as a gift. It is terrific. You can clip it on you and take with you through the house and even outside. The picture and sound do go in and out a bit but not enbough to give it a bad rating. It lets you know when the baby is crying or awake and moving about. We have the base sitting on the crib railing, and our baby thrashes about in her sleep, shaking the entire crib and the monitor stays put and still works. This is a great monitor.
A Total Waste of Money - Rated No Stars
I bought this monitor and find it completely useless. Firstly, the screen for viewing is very, very small. The picture quality is awful, all you see is a kind of murky outline of your baby. The scope of what the camera picks up is very small, I cannot get the whole crib in the picture no matter how hard I try. I even put the camera on the ceiling looking down and I still can't see the whole crib. Last night in the middle of the night it started buzzing and then ran out of battery power. Apparently it can't even last a typical 8 or 9 hour night. I had it hooked up to the charger all day and when I went to turn it on tonight it lasted about 10 minutes. Now, on my baby's second night alone in his room and I have nothing to monitor him. I can't imagine what they were thinking releasing this product under their name and came up with a $200 price tag. Totally irresponsible false advertising.
