One of the top Expansions5
Heroscape is probably the best board game currently produced. Hasbro continues to produce not only a quality product in terms of its durability and the "look" of the game pieces, but also in term of their concepts and ideas. The 7th Wave expansion from Heroscape, "Fields of Valor," continues this great tradition and will add a lot of fun and adventure to your game.

What will you get in this set? You'll get a package of 4 Ashigaru spearmen and 4 Ashigaru riflemen (in feudal Japan, Ashigaru were the peasant troops), a set of heroes including an evil ninja, an elvin sorceress, two vampires and a rifle-wielding robot, a set of 3 Kinghts Templar cavalry, and a set of two vampires and a squad of three winged demons.

This wave is going to be a lot of fun to integrate into your game. The Templar Cavalry have enhancements that let them charge and add dice when fighting Utgar troops; the vampires can fly, perform "Life Drain" (if they're wounded, and destroy another figure, a wound is removed), and have other nasty abilities; the ninja is inexpensive and has a lot of nice attributes, but only 1 life; and the Ashigaru are fairly cheap squads with a couple of nice abilities that will make you want to draft a lot of them. I wasn't overly impressed with the elvin sorceress, or the winged demons, but we'll see.

Overall, this set is a must for the Heroscape fanatic. Enjoy!

Better and better5
The creative minds behind Heroscape seem to be working overtime to outdo themselves. Wave 7 is definitely one of the best small pack waves there is. The Templar Cavalry is well-made, and their potential on the battlefield is high. But the most significant of the characters in the wave is the Esenwein vampire family, led by the vampire lord Cyprien who is the dealiest of the lot. He can move without taking engagement attacks, he can attack with his deadly indefensible "chilling touch" that can do up to 6 points of damage before he does his regular attack. In addition, the vampires can reduce damage done to them everytime they kill someone. I haven't tried the other characters yet on the field, but I'm sure they can hold their own. This wave is definitely a keeper.

Another great expansion4
Thus is another great expansion to the Heroscape line. If you like the game, get this, enough said.
