Contrary to other's experiences, this is a great toy!
This stegasaurus had several poor reviews, that we had read *before* we bought this toy for our 5 year old son. However, our son so loved this toy so much, that we decided to take a chance, and buy it despite the poor reviews we read. We are now happy to report to you, that this is a great toy!! We have had no problems with parts failing to hold together magnetically, as designed. Moreover, our son totes the toy around our home, when it is disassembled, in a Ziplock bag, and he has never lost 1 part of this toy. My son has informed me that the Stegasaurus remains assembled, even when playing with the toy in a mock battle with the Pterasaur Magnasaur (stay tuned for the full report, at 11. LOL.). The ironic part of this review is.......this toy is no longer for sale. LOL. However, my son insisted that we give a fair and balanced report on his magnasaur, for those that still have one of these great toys in their toybox today. Have fun! :-))
Santa brought it!
This was one of the three things my 8-year old granddaughter requested of Santa. And she loves it. Her twin sister got the T-Rex. Both of them were thrilled. I don't understand it, but there it is. The toy fits together with built-in magnets,and comes apart easily. When you press a button it roars and the eyes glow red. Guess this is one that both boys and girls would like, and they seem to like having the collection.
