Customer Reviews
Wonderful for medical students
This book is a must have for Pathology. It is very easy to read and hard to put down. I wish I would have read this book before reading the Robbins.
Note about new editin
A note from one of the editors. The 5th edition of Essentials is a new text based on Rubin's Pathology 5th edition. The text in the full version has been condensed ,abbreviated and updated so as to make it particularly useful for dental and allied health students. Medical students might also find it of value as a quick review. Comments (critical or otherwise) are solicited. The "five stars" are of course my conflicted opinion
Essential Pathology
I have had a chance to review the new edition coming this fall and it is a spectacular book. The artwork has been improved to full color drawings and photos. This is overall a much better book for the medical student by only giving the 'need to know' and leaving out the 'nice to know'.
