Reminds me of the movie "elf"
Well, I can't be too critical of this book because my son likes it. But it reminds me of the movie "elf" where the guy ships the book that is missing pages. Each page is supposed to have a texture for kids to feel, but two of the six pages have no texture. One of them is just shiny, and the other has no texture at all ... Wierd! Just seems like they would have said, "hey these pages have no texture" before they shipped them all over the place.

My son's favorite!
We bought this book for our son, who will be 6 months old next week. He loves it! We bought him several books for Christmas, but this is definitely his favorite. He will let you read other books, but he still wants to hold on to this one. The pages are sturdy enough that he can hold them and open and close the flap while we say, "Peek-a-boo!"We plan to buy more in this series.

terrific series of books
I bought this book for my granddaughter when she was 6mos old. She was so crazy about it, that a few weeks later I bought the bathtime, bedtime, and baby says ones. She is now 18 mos old and they are still her favorites that she will want to sit with me and look at over and over again. She will be delighted to find there are more which I plan to buy today. But even though sturdy, after a year of use, they are wearing out. And when she has gotten a little hyper, she has torn the flap on a couple of them, so they do need supervision, hopefully a loving mom or grandma to sit and spend time. Have fun, we have.
