The Britax brand has a great history of good reports on consumer reports. This particular model has side impact protection in addition to everything else. It is worth the money!!! My husband says that "you can't put a price on safety" and if you think about it, "it costs less than $1 a day" (and that's if you only used it for one year).

It helps the baby sit up when they can't yet. Also purchase the $10-12 tray that goes with it. Well worth the money, especially if you have a child that gets bored easily (like mine).

These make great burp cloths (much larger and softer once they're washed enough) and snot catchers. Great value! Find them at Target. Also in pink/purple.
