Excellent for Beginners
I have used my dress form for 4 pieces of clothing now. It works really well. It really takes the guess work out of sewing if you aren't into using patterns all the time (it works really well for pattern use too)!

My only complaint is that although the size is adjustable, the shape is not. Not all women are hourglasses or curvy in all the same areas and I think that this would better accommodate all shapes if the actual waistline was adjustable.

Overall, I am really glad I bought this, as I am an avid clothing maker.

Best affordable dressform...for a Fabulous Fit
I have had one of these "dial-a-form" and ended up hanging scarves on it, because they are pretty basic, lightweight and are not truly adjustable. If you are looking for a real professional Dress Form for fitting at home or in a studio, which is completely adjustable in every way and lets you recreate your posture to duplicate every inch of yourself or friend -the fabulousfit dress form is great. On the form you can use pins, with pinning there is really no way to mark or secure for fitting. I am a customer (happy customer, affiliation with Fabulous Fit) I read mixed reviews and had a hard time deciding on a replacement for the "dial-a-form", many wanted something which came complete with their measurements, but I just got my form (3 weeks in the making) and spent a couple of hours putting my bulges on - anyone who says they can't be bothered putting the pieces together for a customized fit, must be truly lazy, it is so easy - it comes with a complete fitting system. I am so impressed with the quality, the communication from Jill and Brunilda and the service. If you want a great form without the pro prices, treat yourself to this one. And the nice thing is should I loose or gain weight (again) I do not have to buy a new form. Oh, and it also has a sturdy stand with lockable wheels, easy lift/lower foot pedal and it turns nicely on the stand! Do not bother with these massproduced forms. Just my opinion.......

wrong size and no service
I ordered an adjustable dress form, size medium, for my daughter as a birthday present. When it arrived it was a size large. I emailed the company who emailed us a postal seal to return the item. On the return information and via email we indicated that they had sent a large instead of a medium and after seeing the size of the large we would prefer a medium or small. Weeks went by with no information. Today I got my credit card bill and saw that rather than send us the right item they just credited back to my credit card. If they had bothered to tell me sooner I would have ordered another dress form in the correct size from a differnt vender. This was a birthday present to my daughter who really needed it for her work, so I was disappointed that they didn't keep us informed.
