Customer Reviews

Best scent!5
Aveda has the most relaxing scent of any product I've used. Shampure conditioner helps me to relax throughout the day! I purchased an Aveda Shampure candle to bring me that same relaxing spa scent at home as well.

Adds great shine5
I used to color my curly hair regularly, but stopped when there was just no shine or softness left to my poor hair. I started using the Shampure shampoo and conditioner a little over a year ago, and my hair is healthier, softer, and shinier than I ever remember it being! I haven't seen a split end in months, and my curls are now soft springy spirals instead of dry damaged frizz.

Itchy scalp and dandruff!4
I'm not a big fan of the scent, but it appears to be keeping my hair in decent condition.
Also, it doesn't come with a pump and the bottle is very large, making it unwieldy. As a result, I've had to transfer it into a smaller bottle for regular use and will refill the smaller bottle as necessary.

EDIT: Having used this shampoo for a while, I find that it gives me an itchy scalp and dandruff! I asked my girlfriend to try it out to see if it was just me and she got an itchy scalp too! Obviously, I told her to stop using it before she got to the dandruff stage and the itchiness went away immediately. Unfortunately, because of this I'm going to have to change my rating to 1-star (even though Amazon won't let me actually change it). Sorry Aveda!
