The Avent Niplette is a non-invasive device developed for the permanent correction of flat or inverted nipples. The kit contains 2 thimble shaped molds with valve components, two plastic syringes to be used as a suction device to treat both nipples. The Avent Niplette is worn for eight hours a day and keeps constant suction on the nipple to keep it protruded. This device is the most aggressive treatment available for flat or inverted nipples, and is much more effective than Breast Shells for inverted nipples. (May be used through the seventh month of pregnancy under the consultation of your doctor.) It can't be used for permanent correction while lactating because the milk produced during lactation will nullify the seal and effectiveness of the Avent Niplette, but it can be used for a few minutes before latching the baby on to help draw out the nipple. If you are currently pregnant, please inform your obstetrician that you are using the device. The use of the Niplette should not exceed three months, unless after that time, it is only used occasionally to keep the results. Amazing
I found out about this product a few years ago by a plastic surgeon that I went to for a consultation about my invertated nipple. I was told by this surgeon to try the Niplette before I try any procedure because he had customers that found success with it. I left his office and kept the idea of the Niplette in the back of my mind. I didn't buy the Niplette right away because at the time, I was married and my husband didn't mind it. When I got divorced I made the decision to buy it and try it out. What a revalation! I wished that I had bought it the day I found out about it. It is so simple to use and I saw results after 3 days of using it. I am extremely pleased with this product and recommend it to anyone that has an inverted nipple. I had little to no discomfort. I used it at night and also when I went to work. The only thing that I would recommend is using a bra with a thicker pad to mask the bulge of the Niplette. This is a great product and it is definatly worth buying!!! 5 stars all the way.

breastfeeding help
My nipples are flat and I couldn't breastfeed my firstborn, I pumped and bottle fed for 12 months instead. The medela nipple shields didn't do anything to help either. We are now TTC our second child and I don't want to go through that again. I have only been using this product for a week or so but have already noticed improvement. I am hoping to correct the problem permanently in a few months. I gave this product a 4 star because it's hard to keep the nipplette on, it falls off with a bra or shirt over the top. I discovered that if I use lubricating jelly the attachment/suction is much better. I also discovered that if I wear the "medela breast shells for inverted nipples" over the nipplette, it stays in place much better. You can see that something is underneath my shirt though, so I only wear it at home. I will probably do another review if this product helps me to breast feed!

It's really works!!!!
I have two kids and am pregnant with my third. I had the hardest time nursing both of my children. With my first, my nipples were so flat, she couldn't latch and with my second, he had such a hard time latching, that my nipple became dimpled so badly that I couldn't get it to stay out. With this baby, I wanted to be proactive, so nursing would be easier this time around. I asked my LC for help and she suggested this product. It is a miracle product!!!!! I can't believe how well it worked. I have been using it for a few weeks and my nipple comes out much more easily and I think if I use it a little longer, it might even stay out permanently. I know this will make nursing so much easier and I'm thrilled. I wear it under my clothes and at night (sometimes it falls off at night if I don't wear a nursing or shelf tank though). I can hardly tell it's there anymore and it's pretty discreet. It is also easy to use. If you have flat, inverted or dimpled nipples, I definitely suggest trying this product before or while pregnant. I think it will make a huge difference. The best price I could find for this was on Amazon.
