This Is The Best!
We did a lot of searching.... online and in retail stores. This has the best combination of features we wanted. A remote control and manual controls on the air conditioner.... in case your remote gives up the ghost.

It is not silent, none of them are. After all, it does have a fan unit built into it. I read of others complaining of noise. I believe this is very quiet compared to other units I have heard. I love the flexible duct portion and the included molding to install to your window for exhaust of the hot air from the air conditioner. Note that the pre drilled holes for the moulding unit could be a little bit larger. Open the holes a very small amount before installing the screws.

The shipping was rather slow, but it was well protected and packaged very good. All in all, very happy with this product. I would buy this one again.... the ultimate proof of satisfaction.
