click elite day packs5
This is my second click elite pack. I have their day pack. Which is the nature pack. I was using a M-Rock Zion. This pack was junk. Zippers cracked, didn't come with a wasteband, poor fit, and clunky.
The clickelite is a pack built for those of use who actually hike into the wilderness to photograph. It isn't for someone that needs to carry their gear from the taxi to the airport, or for someone who drives into a state park and parks and hikes for ten minutes waiting for the right light. This pack is serious, the construction, the zippers, the material all are of the highest quality. I've been trying a number of packs and had been using an Osprey day pack as well, Osprey makes great packs but it was hard to get camera into it safely. The day pack, the bottom section will hold my Canon 5D mark2 with a 24-105, there is also room for my 100-400, and my 16-35. The top section is plenty big enough for rain gear, food, filter cases and then some. The pack is adjustable to fit your torso, Im tall and thin with a long back and it fits great. The section for the hydration sleeve is perfect for a camelback 70 ounce bag. My Gitzo tripod fits nicely into the side pocket and the top strap secures it to the side of the pack. The company is also user friendly, they respond quickly, are easy to get ahold of on the phone and pay attention to your needs. I've used the chest pack and find it comfortable and easy access to my camera, sometimes it's a pain to take off the entire pack just to get out your camera. It also works with my large Osprey I use for multi day backpack trips. These packs are jjust comfortable, secure, well thought out, and exceptionally well built.
