Comfortable as they get
THis shoe is attractive and extremely comfortable. I've become an Ecco convert over the past few years. Reasonably priced and just as comfortable as Mephisto, which is supposedly the king of the hill!

The Color Comes Off!
I didn't buy this pair of shoes from amazon.com, but I feel I can still review them here. I have had these ecco shoes in cognac for about 2 weeks and the color is almost completely worn off on the top, tips of the toes! It is also starting to come off on the heal-side, just beneath the opening. I noticed it was starting to come off of toes the first time I wore them to work. I am a salesman who works on a carpeted floor. I occasionally have to get on one knee, but other than that, I do not have a physically demanding job. No other dress shoes I've worn to work have had this happen, so I blame the shoes! I am completely unimpressed that a $200 pair of shoes would do this! I would definately return them, except my roommate sells shoes and got them for me at cost and I'm too embarassed to complain about them. So, I guess I'll have to find polish in cognac and get used to polishing these every few days for the rest of the time I own them.

They are very light weight and comfortable. But, like I said, having the color wear off within 2 weeks of owning a pair of $200 shoes is outrageous. They get one star just for that.

Misclassification
I was very impressed with this product until it was realized the size requested was not what was sent too me. When ordering it was noted EU44 (10 - 10.5 US) When received it was observed the shoe was too big. Looking up on-line what EU44 was it was discovered that EU44 is actually 12 - 13.5 US.
