The graphics are doable, the plot is imaginative and fantastic, the characters are developed, the dialogue is unique--My. Favorite. RPG. Of. All. Time.

Buy new: $16.49 / Used from: $12.49 It's true, it's glitchy--but a patch has been released, and if you're operating a Windows XP, like I am, you should be all right. ...Should be.
However, if all goes well and you're quite brave--this game is absolutely-freaking-FANTASTIC. An absolute must-have.

Buy used from: $17.25 Spectacular game! You don't even really have to be into the movies and books and comic books and 'graphic novels' and all that other crap to fall in love with this. Don't let the big 'STAR WARS' label scare you. It's for everyone.

 | Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords
Buy new: $19.99 / Used from: $9.75 Be careful with this game. It's fantastic--until you get to the end. Biiiig letdown. No spoilers, but the ending is extremely unsatisfying. However, The Sith Lords Restoration Project, a team working outside of LucasArts Entertainment, is and has been working on restoring all the lost content and fixing up the holes in the game--and if all goes well, it'll be just as perfect as its predecessor.

Buy new: $13.29 / Used from: $5.50 Not a lot in the interactive-dialogue department, but it tops in everything else. Must have--even if just for the gorgeous screenshots of sunsets over water.

Buy new: $16.99 / Used from: $8.41 Not as pretty as Oblivion, but with a more complex, political plot. A good intro to The Elder Scrolls.

Buy used from: $35.99 There is no way you can call yourself a CRPGer and have not played and loved this game. It will suck you in, wholly. Difficult, if you ask me, and full of its own frustrations--but, in the end, absolutely worth it. Go ahead. Buy.

Buy new: $19.49 / Used from: $6.81 A lovable game. Cliche plot, not outstanding in the way of characters and dialogue, but it grows on you. Fun and easy to play--plus, um, same-sex marriage abilities are amazingness.

Buy new: $203.98 / Used from: $55.90 Expensive, so if you have a console that will play it, buy it for that one--but if you're like me and you're stuck on the PC, it's worth it. Trust me on this. There's a reason for all the hype and fangirls, and it isn't just Cloud's Hair of Gravity-Defying +2.

 | Scratches: Directors Cut
Buy new: $18.00 / Used from: $1.90 If you're a horrormonger when it comes to movies, like I am, even though this is a video game, it plays out like a movie--all its difficulty lies in puzzles, but it's mostly about watching the plot unfold, and very little about interaction.
Try not to pee your pants, as that's typically regarded as bad form. (You'll be very, very tempted, though. Really.)

Buy new: $57.89 / Used from: $17.92 A strategy game--which translates to 'oh god get that thing away from me' in my native tongue--but very addictive. Worth a go or two.
