Great Gadget
I can't believe what great lighting this little $13 gadget gives. It softens the light giving your subject a beautiful, even glow. I used it in total darkness to shoot a picture of a sleeping baby and the results were amazing... plus the baby wasn't affected by a bright flash in her face. The diffuser folds flat for storage. Don't be discouraged when you first receive it... yes, it feels flimsy in your hand but once you open it up and attach it to the flash unit it's stable. I would definitely buy this product again.

Needs A little Work
After receiving this product I noticed how cheaply it's made. But, I really needed a small diffuser and this item fits that bill. During assembly I notice that the small sleeves that the strap fits through can and will come off after a few installs. So I made a slight modification to the unit. First I took that strap off and set it aside. Second I found some velcro that i had lying around the house and cut it into smaller strips and attached them to the inside flaps of the diffuser. The other half of the the velcro was attached to to my flash unit. Now when I need to place it on my flash, I can just attach each flap onto the flash unit. It holds very well. If you want you can put the strap around it and secure the strap. Don't bother putting the strap through the sleeves, they'll just tear of anyway. When removing the diffuser, just peel the flap off gently so you don't pull the velcro off. It works great.

It works.
It feels kind of cheaply made, but I can't expect TOO much, since it is fairly cheap. It defuses the light, which is good, and what I wanted it to do. Folds up very small. No complaints.
