Amazon.com Product Description
Great for decorating shrubs, parasols and doorways, this string of 50 multi-colored, star-shape lights comes with a separate solar panel for easy wireless installation. Powered by a separate amorphous solar panel, the lights can be placed in shady areas with the panel in full sun. Power runs from the panel through a 23-foot power cord with lights spaced 5-1/2 inches apart. A 10-foot lead wire from first light to panel lets you tuck the panel far out of sight. The lights turn on automatically at dusk, off at dawn, and shed up to 8 hours of colorful light when fully charged.

Customer Reviews

Great Product!5
I bought this for my garden shed and I chose not to have power out there in order to keep it on the rustic side. I chose these lights to hang around the porch part of my shed and they work wonderful. We mounted the solar panel to the roof and every night they come on and last longer than we do. So, I would imagine they are dead on when they say they last for up to eight hours. I'm looking to purchase the Christmas lights to save on electric for the holidays.

Add a Little Happiness5
These bright little stars now adorn my patio cover. They last nearly through the night and add just enough light to look cheerful but no so much that they interfere with the darkness I need in my bedroom.

They're easy to install and the solar panel is large enough to collect enough energy during the day to power the lights, even during the "June Gloom" in southern California.

Not worth the time1
I ordered both sets, followed the instructions, let them charge for 3 three days, and neither one of these lights worked. I waited for Target to have their end of summer clearance and bought my solar string lights there for a deeply discounted price
