Great taste, easy packaging
I like this stuff. It tastes good, and is easy to get out of the packaging, (unlike the original flavor)-- which makes public gum chewing a little less attention-grabbing. My only criticism is that the mintiness is so intense that it can be hard to detect the peppery flavor that tells you to stop chewing. As a result, I ended up chewing too much a lot of the time and swallowing excess nicotine, (which hurt my throat). Overall though, the gum has been a huge help during my quit and I highly recommend using some kind of NRT.

Excellent Product
Good flavor and effective product. I was a heavy smoker, approx. 2 packs a day. I'm down to 2 cig. a day. I tried the patch, but got a skin irritation/reaction that required me to stop using patch cessation products. The gum works for me. I haven't gained weight, but have actually lost weight using the gum. Great tool for smokers to kick the habit!

It is a big help in the fight to quit.
Of course it's cheaper than smoking, especially with the cigarette taxes in our state (the main reason I'm quitting is cause I can't afford to buy cigarettes anymore). I decided to try the gum and not the patch because then I could control when I wanted to use it.

With the 2 mg., the nicotine is very mild. It does leave a slight burning in the back of your throat if you chew it for more than 10 minutes. The flavor is very good, but I haven't noticed any teeth whitening yet.

I wasn't a heavy smoker to begin with, maybe a 1/2 a pack (10 cigs) a day. I am going with a reducing program. I am currently down to 3 cigarettes a day, and the gum really helps with the cravings. And of course, it's a lot cheaper than buying cigarettes.
