Part of a poor-woman's Sybian!
The Hitachi Magic Wand is one of the premier wand-style massagers, but it does have two problems - it does have a somewhat short cord, and it can only be set to only 2 speeds. Now, with this speed controller you can fix both problems in one swoop!

This thing acts as a 6-foot extension cord, which is pretty darn good - good enough to cover most areas that I needed. The controller itself has two switches - a rocker switch that moves between Off, Var and Full. The Var setting being the best, and it allows you to use the radial switch to see the Magic Wand to whatever speed you want.

The absolute best use for the Speed Controller is to combine it with your Magic Wand and the Hitachi Love Seat, and create your own poor-woman's Sybian!

This is a great Magic Wand accessory, great by itself and even better when combined with the Love Seat. Get it and enjoy!!!

overpriced dimmer
Don't waste money on this. Go to the hardware store and get a dimmer-plug for under $10 instead.

Hitachi Magic Wand Speed Controller
This item is technically functional and it works as advertised. However, the power cord is quite heavy and stiff. It is difficult to manage. Also, the receptacle where the massager cord plugs into the speed controller is very tight. It was hard to insert the massager plug and I had to use a screwdriver to pry the plug out when I tried to remove the cord for storage.
