![]() | Fisher-Price Papasan Cradle Swing - Nature's Touch N1973
Buy new: $349.99 Our favorite baby product EVER. We got this as a shower gift with our first baby and LOVE IT. Hands-down this is a miracle swing for any new parents with a fussy baby. Both our babies slept soundly and well in this for naps and even overnight. The rocking motion is perfect for lulling a fussy infant to sleep and once they get a few months older, the mobile/mirror really entertains them.

![]() | Fisher-Price Baby Papasan Infant Seat - Natural
Buy new: $57.99 This is a super cute and comfy seat when we needed to keep moving the baby from spot to spot to keep him entertained - Its easy to carry from room to room and our baby would nap comfortably in it with or without using the vibrating function. Fits nicely on a kitchen table or even the bed.

![]() | ThinkBaby Trainer Cup Twin Pack - 9 oz.
Buy new: $17.25 BEST Bottles ever - not a leak yet *knocks on wood*. We tried many, many brands and almost all leaked at some point. (Which is just not at all acceptable as far as I'm concerned.) These are BPA free and wash/wear really well. Best part is that they are convertible to a sippy cup when baby gets older - just use their converter kit, which adds on handles and a sippy cup spout instead of the nipple.

![]() | Graco Pack 'n Play Playard in Bugs Quilt
Buy new: $89.88 The best playard we found - larger than your usual pack and plays, it also has toys on each side (mirror, bell, etc) to keep him entertained. We started our son in this after he could stand and it has been invaluable!
A great private space for our son to play, nap, watch a video and stretch out--while of course giving you the freedom to actually get something done around the house for yourself.

![]() | What to Expect When You're Expecting: 4th Edition by Heidi Murkoff
Buy new: $10.17 / Used from: $4.97 Seriously the best book out there for an expectant mom. I never had many pregnant girlfriends and had ALOT of questions. This one answered almost all of them - very helpful to have on hand for those random "what on earth is THAT all about" questions as you get closer to delivery.

![]() | Your Pregnancy: A Week by Week Guide: What to expect at every stage, from conception to birth and post-natal care; Expert advice and guidance for a healthy, happy pregnancy and baby by Alison Mackonochie
Buy new: $9.99 / Used from: $7.98 2nd best book on your pregnancy. We liked the "play by play" on the baby's growth each week. It made the whole thing a little more manageable - "aha! This week he's an inch longer and has a pancreas!"

![]() | Baby Einstein Stage 1 - 7-Pack
Buy used from: $33.99 We bought these one by one as our first son got older. He started with (and is still a family fave) World Animals, Baby MacDonald and Baby Mozart. He loved them more than being read to - which we tried unsuccessfully - from age 6 months on. I would suggest trying the animals first and then investing in the whole library (MINUS the lullaby one - its the worst of the lot)

![]() | Playtex Baby Einstein Mealtime Set Stage 2
Buy new: $39.95 Once my oldest started on finger foods, we found these really helpful - even now at almost 2, he loves to work his way through dinner to see the pictures underneath!
