Heely's aren't just for kids ...
The Heely's are great fitting shoes, very comfortable. I was expecting the heel to be hard to support the wheel, and that is true. But it's well padded by the insole so it's a comfortable walking shoe. They remind me of wearing a great fitting pair hiking boots but look a LOT better! They are heavy so don't plan on wearing them for long walks unless you plan to put the wheels in during your outing. Even if I don't master the art of Heelying I'll have a pair of very good shoes.

As far as learning how to Heely that depends on how quick you learn to do this kind of thing. Give yourself some time though there are some muscles on the front of your leg that you probably don't know are there. If you overdue it you'll get to know those muscles. :-) Learning this is more than just balance but gaining some leg strength too. A tip, practice your balance on a carpet it slows or may even stop the wheels, which really helps.

I weigh 225 pounds and was worried the stock wheel bearings wouldn't handle my weight. Not a problem they roll just fine. So far I haven't done any tests of the theory that the bigger they are the harder they fall. :-) (I'm 6'4")

It's a blast hearing kids go into shock that a grown up is on Heely's. Now I need to get to where I can Heely like the kids do. Second childhood, huh, who me??? :-)

So i'd been really interested on owning a pair of heelys. this is actually the only place i was able to find some in my size, 12 men's. outside of physically finding a pair, i was worried that they weren't for people my size. i'm a larger athlete, 6' tall at 245lbs. i ordered these heelys, and held my breath until i got them.

i decided to choose the two day delivery, but for some fortunate mystery they were delivered to my oorstep the next day. trust me, i'm not complaining. very excited and anxious i put them on. i had absolutely no doubt in the shoe after wearing them for the day. they can easily withstand the burden of someone of my stature. i absolutely love my heelys. very skeptical at first, now i'm incredibly happy.
