Swoosh Cusion Is Very Comfortable5
I am a 60 year old male kayak paddler with a Chesapeake Light Craft "17 LT" and a Feathercraft Big Kahuna. I paddle in protected waters as a recreational kayaker. I have experienced some pain and numbness in both legs after about 30-60 minutes of paddling. I have had to either get out of the kayak or alternate lifting my knees up into the kayak. The Swoosh seat cushion has helped considerably. It is very well made with a bottom that grips my original seat, adds little additional height, and is very comfortable with a dense cushion. It is much better than an air cusion. I use it with a Sea Line thigh cushion and have also worked on adjusting my foot braces to find the best position. I am very satisfied with the Swoosh and with a little more fine tuning, I think I will have solved my leg problems. It is the best kayak seat cushion I have used and I will look no farther with regard to a seat cushion.

Ah, Much Better!5
I've been doing a good bit of kayaking along the Susquehanna River in PA, and after an hour or more, my tail starts to get numb, and the pain just multiplies, since there's no place to get the weight off your duff while you're paddling. Getting out of the yak was pretty difficult, as the blood seemed to be rushing back when I finally lifted myself off the seat of my relatively comfortable Wilderness yak.

I wasn't sure that the Swoosh was the answer, but I used it last week, and was out for more than two hours. I had a pretty comfortable time of it. And getting out of the boat was not painful at all.

Seems like the cushion really made a difference for me, improving the whole kayaking experience.

It doesn't feel much different from the regular seat - and I basically don't even feel it's there. But it sure made a nice difference in the end (yes, pun intended).

True comfort5
Before the Skwoosh an hour of paddling and the pain would begin, after the Skwoosh no more pain. Great cushion.
