Incredibly Compact, Lightweight, and Versatile
Whether you're setting up camp, finishing up a home project, or broken down on the side of the road, it's not uncommon to find yourself missing the one tool that can really make a difference. With the compact Squirt P4 close at hand, chances are you'll always have that tool.

Measuring just 2.25 inches long when closed, and weighing in at just two ounces, this 10-in-1 multitool offers a full range of the most commonly used tools, including spring-action needlenose pliers, regular pliers, wire cutters, a wood/metal file, an awl, a bottle opener, and a traditional knife blade.

It also provides you with three screwdrivers capable of handling a wide variety of hardware: an extra-small screwdriver, a medium screwdriver, and a flat Phillips screwdriver--an addition that's sure to garner special appreciation from anyone who has ever cut themselves or broken a blade trying to drive a screw with an ordinary pocket knife.

Ultra Strong, Precision Sharp Blade
A sharp knife is not only more useful than a dull knife, it's also safer and easier to control. The Squirt P4 includes a clip-point blade that's crafted out of ultra-strong 420HC steel. This corrosion-resistant steel was selected by Leatherman because it can hold an edge nearly three times as long as regular stainless steel, which means you can spend more time taking advantage of its edge and less time on the sharpening stone. Plus 420HC is tough, not brittle, and it is corrosion resistant.

Designed to Work Intuitively
You can count on Leatherman tools to be as user-friendly as they are rugged. The Squirt P4 features a strong, anodized aluminum handle and is sculpted to fit comfortably in your hand. Plus, each of the individual tools are outside-accessible with thumbnail nicks for easy one-handed access, so you don't always have to open the butterfly handle to access the tool you're looking for.

This lightweight Squirt P4 Multitool is also available in storm gray and inferno red.

About Leatherman: Time-Tested Survival Tools
The original Pocket Survival Tool, devised by mechanical engineer Tim Leatherman, hit the market in 1983. By 1993, Leatherman was selling more than one million tools a year. In the blockbuster movie "Speed," Keanu Reeves used a Leatherman to save the passengers on a doomed bus. Even MacGyver has been seen with one of these trusty tools. But their best reviews come from everyday people. The Leatherman survival tool is a mainstay of travelers, sailors, fishermen, hunters, backpackers, and scouts all over the world.

All Leatherman tools, including the Squirt P4 Multitool, are backed by a 25-year warranty.

What's in the Box
Leatherman Squirt P4 Glacier Blue Multitool with Pliers

Amazon.com Product Description
Leatherman's Squirt P4 is an amazingly compact multitool, measuring a mere 2-1/4 inches in length and weighing less than 2 ounces. But for such a tiny unit, the Squirt packs a lot of tough, functional tools--needle-nose pliers, a straight knife, a file, a bottle opener, wire cutters, an awl, and three screwdrivers. All the tools are made of high-grade stainless steel and come protected and housed within colorful anodized handles. The tool butterflies open to access the spring-action pliers; all the other tools are easily accessed from the outside of the Squirt and snap readily into place. A lanyard attachment makes it easy to fasten the Squirt to a key ring. Leatherman also covers this mighty little guy with a 25-year warranty. -- Jon Groebner

From the Manufacturer
The Squirt P4 redefines the term ultra-compact. Protected by "Glacier" blue anodized aluminum handles, this new addition to the Juice family contains needlenose pliers, straight knife, wire cutters, and three screwdrivers. Also features a file, opener, and awl. Most of the tools are accessible from the outside for ease of operation.

Micra vs Squirt5
I love this little Leatherman! I've had mine attached to my keys for about 3 years and it is still going strong. I have the "S4" version with the scissors instead of pliers. When I saw that someone said the Micra was a better value, I had to come to the defense of the Squirt. Take it from someone who knows, the Squirt far surpasses the value of the Micra. I had gone through 2 Micras before I found the Squirt.

--Scissors Spring--
Micra - After a month or two it was so gummed up that the scissors would stay shut and would not open on their own. This was main reason I went through them so fast.
Squirt - Still springing after years, much more force behind this one.

--Scissor Grip--
Micra - When doing some serious cutting, the sharp metal frame and tools will start to slice into your hand.
Squirt - Thicker frame to house the tools on the outside lessens so it will not hurt your hand.

--Paint--
Micra - Start to flake and chip off after a month or so. (If you had to get one, get the stainless steel finish)
Squirt - Storm gray paint has scratched off but no big flakes like the Micra. The paint is bound to go through some serious wear and tear when on a keychain so some scratches are to be expected.

--Size--
Micra - Small
Squirt - Smaller

If you were thinking of getting the Micra, spend the extra 5 bucks and get a knife that is 5 times better.

Compact and ultimately useful5
I've owned my "Squirt" for about 3 years and keep it in my front pocket constantly.

The PLIERS are strong enough for most applications that the jaw size can handle. That includes, in my case, loosening the battery bolts on my car after my battery went dead in a parking lot. Also great for things around the house like tightening the cable connection on the back of the TV.

The KNIFE blade is only sharpened on one side and is very short so it serves a very limited range of use. Be careful as it is not a lock blade but it works well for cutting string and small wires.

The FILE has a grit sufficient for light tasks but should be cleaned after each use since the grit is on the fine side.

The SCREWDRIVERS have sufficient size to take the place of much larger tools. I wouldn't apply too much torque since they are attached to such a small tool but they work well for most applications. The Phillips head is actually an pointed blade rather than a round traditional phillips head. I've tried it in quite a few screw sizes. It doesn't work well to loosen very tight screws but is still quite handy.

The AWL is one of the most overlooked tools on the squirt. It works as an expedient hole punch in the office, works great for punching holes in leather or canvas and is a great fingernail grooming tool in a pinch.

The CAN OPENER is very, very small and can be difficult to use on bottle caps but it does the job.

A few notes about care. This tiny tool is usually kept in a pocket and gets very clogged with lint as would any other tool. I clean mine frequently just to keep all of the parts working. I've washed it in water and Dawn dishwashing liquid and haven't had any problems with rust but I would not put it in a dishwasher. The finish is suprisingly durable and mine has a few knicks and scratches that give it a bit of character.

Finally, I definitely recommend this tool. Although on the expensive side, people forget that it is very expensive to design "micro" tools that can handle multiple tasks. The construction is more solid than most items of its size. I try to carry a mini-flashlight and this tool with me wherever I go and the tool has more than paid for itself.

SQUIRT5
I own three (3) of the Leatherman Squirts (plier models) and highly reccomend them. The squirt is durable and is good for a variety of tasks. The pliers, although small, have the power of a larger pair of pliers. The wire cutters in the pliers really do work. Their small size is useful to get into tight spaces. Having a useful multi-tool that doesn't require a sheath is useful in an office where some people get nervous when they see a knife on somebody's belt.

I'd like to see Leatherman come out with a multi-tool between the size of the squirt and the juice. I've used Gerber and Leatherman multi-tools. Leatherman is sturdier - and made in the USA.
