Customer Reviews
Very clever and very useful gadget
I was looking for a 4GB flash card to use with Microsoft Vista's ReadyBoost feature when I came acro the RiData Yego. This very novel design combines a flash drive that plugs into your USB port - and provides you two additional USB ports as well. The Yego is available in capacities of 1 to 4GB and, just for fun, your choice of end caps asnd fittings in one of five different colors.
It has one loop for a lanyard or metal ring, though you are not going to carrying this on your keychain. The cover for the primary USB port also has a hole for a lanyard that you could attach to the other loop to keep the USB port secure. RiData does not provide these lanyards and doesn't include covers for the other two ports.
I don't know about you, but I want as many USB ports as possible on my machines.
In terms of a flash drive, the Yego is right up there in terms of read and write speeds.
And the USB ports work flawlessly.
Yes, the Yego is substantially more expensive than a traditional 4GB flash drive, but getting the two extra USB ports is worthwhile, especially for a road warrior's laptop.
Overall, a very clever, ingeniuously designed and very useful product.

Ridata EZ Yeho 2-port 4GB Flash
This drive is great. It has 4GB of space and it is a hub to add 2 other thumb drives. Highly recommended. The only flaw I have is it makes the computer run a little slower I guess to accommadate the potential 4GB of space.
