Amazon.com Product Description
If you're plagued by back pain or suffer from stress overload, consider the Teeter Hang Ups F7000S inversion table, which helps to counter the effects of too much time spent sitting, standing or moving repetitively. In full inversion it's also a great way to add extra crunch to exercises like sit-ups without adding painful loads to your back. The Teeter Hang Ups F7000S rotates on a pivot system. With simple arm movements (rotation is accomplished by shifting the weight of the arms), the table easily rotates to any comfortable angle. The smooth rotation allows for oscillation and intermittent traction. Adjustable roller hinges allow you to pre-select three levels to control the aggressiveness of rotation. Increase the traction and enhance your stretching experience by pushing on the EZ Stretch Traction Handles (sold separately).

Comfortable ankle clamps hold you securely while inverting. Corner feet increase the A-frame base by 20 percent, reduce sliding on hard surfaces and protect floors.

The F7000S is able to lock at full 90 degrees inversion (this is only possible when using the more responsive roller hinge setting). While at 90 degrees, you can perform inverted sit-ups and squats. The table is self-controlled and can be unlocked with simple arm movements.

About Teeter Hang Ups
Roger and Jennifer Teeter founded Hang Ups Inversion Products in 1981 and have been dedicated to manufacturing quality inversion products ever since. Roger and Jenny truly believe in the benefits of this simple, natural form of therapy that has been around since 400 BC. In the late 1970’s, Roger tried many forms of therapy to help manage his pain. He finally discovered that by inverting, he was able to relieve his back pain and begin the road to recovery. He credits inversion for keeping him pain free, healthy, and active. Inversion has changed Roger's life, and now he is dedicated to sharing his knowledge of inversion and quality products.

Teeter Hang Ups has pioneered standards for quality and performance in the inversion market. All Teeter Hang Ups F-series inversion tables are classified in accordance with UL 60601-1 (medical equipment in a clinical setting), a rigid specification that tests the structural integrity of the equipment.

Customer Reviews

Outstanding quality, love it!5
It was easy to assemble. Fit and finish like a Hasselblad camera, and that is not a joke.

Totally stable in use, nothing rattles, easy to adjust for people of different height and weight.

It is absolutely silent in use, so it could even be used in a bedroom next to somebody sleeping if desired.

I feel safe when using it because it is so well-built (when you're hanging upside down, that is important!).

This was the only inversion table I could find that wasn't made in mainland China. Why do I care? Because it shows in the quality and in the thorough, English language instructions and tips for use, even a good DVD.

I was also pleased that it folded flat for storage quite easily.

Amazingly simple and effective5
I am a nurse at a local hospital. I work with a patient population that is very immobile, (hospice). After 4 years, my back has seen some painful experiences. Sometimes at night I cannot sleep because my back has a tight feeling and pain down one leg. I went to seen my primary physician and he had xrays of my back. The result: Mild scoliosis and moderate osteoarthritis in my spine. I am only 36 so that was a big wake-up call.

Last month I was visiting a relative of mine who is a plumber and rides snowmobiles every winter. He has been in and out of the hospital with extreme pain. It left him unable to ride in the winter. He was even recieving shots of cortisone in his back to help with the pain.

I had not seen him in 2 years and I was noticing how straight he was standing. I asked him how his back was doing. He said "fine". My next question was, "How did you do that?" He told me of his Teeter Hangup. I of-course had seen the commercials on the t.v. but was unsure of its effectiveness. He invited me to try it out. At that time I was in some pain and my back was very tight. From the moment I hung upside-down I felt relief in my leg. Then he showed me how to rock gently to loosen up the muscles. As I did I went all the way back (60 deg). My back made a rippling noise and I suddenly had a rush of endorphines. As soon as I came back up I felt wonderful. I was sold.

I have been using my teeter f7000 for 2 weeks now and it is amazing. I recommend the 7000 over the 5000 just for the traction handles. They are what help you stretch your spine gently as you hang. Without them it might be difficult to get full stretch of the spine.

People have been saying I look taller and I can say that I feel I am standing up straighter just after 2 weeks. The back pain has been significantly reduced. I dont think I will ever have to go back to the chiropractor again.

Solid inversion table5
I was looking at inversion tables, but I didn't check out any in person. The teeter models got good reviews for stability, and so I purchased mine. The reviews were accurate. It is very stable. One feature that isn't mentioned frequently is the sensitivity of the rotation. There are 3 possible settings. The first setting is for beginners, and it doesn't allow the table to invert fully, and it rotates slower. In essence, the axis of the table is off from the axis of rotation. The last setting allows the table to fully invert, but it is more sensitive, and it rotates much faster. My gf also likes to use it, and the height adjustment is relatively easy to change. However, I just use the same setting, and it just rotates even faster. However, I just bend my knees, so I appear shorter, and then I won't rotate as fast, and I use the hand holds to keep my rotation speed down. Once, I am fully rotated, then I relax my knees. It was a good purchase, and I highly recommend it.
